Studio C Architecture, LLC designed a 68-unit affordable multi-family housing project for NeighborWorks Umpqua in Roseburg, Oregon.  Named Deer Creek Village after the adjacent waterway that forms the site’s southern boundary, the project is intended to primarily serve the area’s veteran population.

The building is organized in a “U” shape around a central courtyard that is oriented towards and connected to the adjacent wetlands and woodland abutting Deer Creek.  This three-story, elevator-served building is comprised of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units.  Additional amenities provided include a bicycle storage room, a central laundry, an outdoor and play and fitness area for both youth and adults, and a community room with associated kitchen.

Deer Creek Village was completed in June 2021.
